Worship is important for the whole family, but what does meaningful worship look like for children? Children have the opportunity for their own worship experience in the Wing in the Woods during the regular service. We recommend Children's Chapel for kids age 3 and up (parents should use their own discretion when determining if a preschool aged child is ready to attend and whether older elementary students would enjoy attending as well). Children's Chapel will begin with a gathering time, then move into an age-appropriate message, worship time just for kids, worship music, and prayer time. (Children will attend service with their families, and then follow Lauren to the the Wing in the Woods for approximately 30 minutes and then return to the sanctuary area for the closing song with their families.) We look forward to seeing your children at Children's Chapel!
Do you love working with kids? Are you excited about ways to share God's love with children? Then volunteer to be part of the Children's Chapel rotation by teaching one or more Sundays a month!
It takes a village to make this happen each year! We are looking for volunteers to help plan and lead this fun experience that helps our kids grow closer to God and each other. Contact Maria Steckel if you have questions or are willing to help.
