Spring Clean Up Day

Save the date for our annual spring clean-up day, a fun service opportunity for the whole family. A meal will be provided by the United Women in Faith. More details to come.
Cinco de Mayo Youth Fundraiser

Please join us in the Wing for tacos and desserts! This is the last Sunday fundraiser for this year’s Youth Mission Trip, a free-will offering will be collected. We have planed a fun Cinco de Mayo theme and would love to see you in the Wing following worship at 10:30 am!
Volunteer Opportunity: CFUM Supper Club
We are looking for volunteers to prepare or serve a meal for the CFUM Supper Club. We will likely need 5-6 volunteers to participate and are targeting a date in June to serve. We will meet a couple of weeks prior to serving the meal to organize our efforts and address questions. CFUM is located at 8th and College in Des Moines in the basement of Trinity United Methodist Church. Contact Angie Loomis, Vickie Merrifield, or Doug McKinstry if you have questions, or check out their awesome community outreach.
Health Care Volunteers Needed
If you are a Healthcare Provider (Physician, ARNP, PA, or Nurse) and can spare a few hours each month (nurses) or once every few months (medical providers), we need you! Our free clinic operates under the umbrella of Free Clinics of Iowa, and our all-volunteer staff provides care at no cost to anyone who needs it. We are open the first and third Wednesday of each month from 6-8 pm. We have recently had two medical providers and one nurse move on to other endeavors. If you are qualified and able to help, please contact Tess Young 515-238-6425.
Sunday School
Sundays after Worship at 10:30am
Children ages 4 years old through 5th grade are invited to Sunday School. Join us as we learn and experience God’s love together! Register your children here.
Women's Coffee
Tuesdays • 10 am | in the Wing
All women are invited for a time of fellowship.
Youth Fellowship
Our Youth Group meets on Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm. You can join any time and you don’t have to have your faith all figured out. We welcome all!
Every summer the youth group participates in a week long mission trip.
Booked! Bible Study!
Every Tuesday from 4:30 to 5:30pm Cindy Hickman (recently retired UMC pastor) leads a study of the Bible at the church. We select a book of the Bible and read it as a group, ask questions, and discuss.
