Today in worship, we will be viewing the pre-recorded Lessons and Carols service from Simpson College.  One of the four United Methodist-affiliated colleges in the Iowa Annual Conference, Simpson celebrates its historic connection to the United Methodist Church and delights in the many ways, like this one, that the relationship between the college and the local church can be strengthened.  This year’s service brings us the thematic movements in Advent that take us from the prophetic hope found in the Old Testament, to the promise of justice found in Mary's song and finally, the illuminating light of Christ.  To learn more about Simpson College, please visit simpson.edu.
